Data access to the employees of demerging entity

The business is currently running on the EBS 12.1.3 version on OCI and is planning to sell one of the companies entirely and exit the non core business. The demerger is planned to be completed by October 2023.

 

As part of the demerger process, the business would like to restrict data access to employees of demerging entities across all the EBS modules, either based on the company, cost center, or department to which they belong.

 

For example, the business is selling the company 141 (one of the segments in KFF). This company has 20+ cost centers, and employees are assigned to different cost centers, and projects are created under these cost centers.
