Updating delivery dates on purchase reroutes for approval

JDE 9.2 Procurement

The P4310 version is setup for rerouting for approval when changes are made to user defined critical fields. Promised Delivery date is not a critical field and yet when users make changes to it, it reorutes for approval. What could be the reason?
