DPK In Place Tools Upgrade

PeopleTools 8.58.10, FS/SCM 9.2.046

Is there a way to do a simple, "in place" upgrade of people tools without a complex upgrade process. You've got all the different moving parts (weblogic, web/app/process, elastic search, kibana) so it seems complex.
