Kibana/Insights Question - PeopleSoft

So, i just created a custom connected query and created some insights for it. Now, when i test using Search Test page, all is working and the rows match to my underlying query.
My query basically looks into my direct reports and from that shows some data. I prepared 3 managers, for testing. All 3 are expecting different sets of results. Now, i tested Manager 1, all is good.
I then proceed testing Manager 2, i just updated my user profile and set Manager 2 emplid to my user. I then rerun, Schedule Search Index (incremental mode) and i was expecting the results to change. However, the results is still that for Manager 1. I tried running search index in full mode, but still, no change. I already logged out/in and cleared my cache but it's still the same. Is this expected? I know it's an odd scenario for a user id to change employee id's but i was just wondering if i missed anything or this is really
