Missing GROUP_CONTROL.

Hi. We have PeopleSoft Financials and I'm working in AR. We are on version 9.2.39.

I seem to have a case where I have and entry in PENDING_ITEM, but no matching row in GROUP_CONTROL. The ITEM and ITEM_ACTIVITY tables have been updated.

My user tells me she was trying to unpost the item, but it "didn't work". I can see that there is no unpost group in ITEM / ITEM_ACTIVITY, but the payment is back on the payment worksheet as you would expect from an unposted payment.

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem, so I can really submit an SR. Just hoping someone might have an idea about where to look next.
