Applying Unchanged Package Cycle
PeopleTools 8.58.10, FS/SCM 9.2.46
What's the correct process for applying change packages when you won't be modifying their contents, across environments that are supposed to have the same codebase.
I've ready a number of support documents, but I'm still confused about the correct process.
Example:
- PUM_SOURCE
- FIRST_TARGET (e.g., dev)
- SECOND_TARGET (e.g., prod)
For example 2451633.1 doesn't really specify how you select the modified change package.
What's the correct process?
- Change Assistant - Create Change Package
- Change Assistant - Apply Change Package. Then Apply to FIRST_TARGET as Initial Pass
- Change Assistant - Update Manager - Apply Change Package. Select the change package (I assume it somehow knows this is the original change package it modified). Then Apply o SECOND_TARGET as move to production
