Run KK report by budget date

PeopleSoft FSCM v9.2 PUM 41

Most of our group run reports by budget year as that is what PeopleSoft provides under Budget overview.

But couple of user groups want to run KK report by budget month, so we were looking at a query option but we could not find budget date in one of the core records. Anyone has an idea for this workaround if there is no delivered options?

Running report by accounting year/period is not feasible as occasionally the budget and accounting date are not in sync from some of the year end transactions.
