How to call Oracle Fusion REST APIs in Oracle EBS Database(other than UTL_HTTP)

Hi Team,

We need to call external (Oracle fusion) REST API's in Oracle EBS and aware of UTL_HTTP approach. But we are looking for any other better approach to call external REST API's , format the JSON response and place the formatted JSON response in oracle database tables.
