SUBROG_CASE_NUM field in AR

Hello -

Can someone please share the use of the SUBROG_CASE_NUM field in the PENDING_ITEM and ITEM records in AR? We are trying to re-purpose this field to store other values but wanted to check this is not something that will cause issues.
