Seeking knowledge about the entire process of using "Create Mass Additions"
This is a non-technical request; merely seeking full knowledge of the Create Mass Additions. I am trying to understand all the who, what, where and why behind the Create Mass Additions process.
Questions:
1) How does the Create Mass Additions work?
2) What Oracle module drives this process?
3) If changes were required to this process, what BR100 document would be followed to make changes?
3) Is there a source document that can provide any/all information as to why this process is required, where it originates and how it's connected from requisition, to purchase order, to invoice, Fixed Assets.
I'm aware and know how/what to do after the information after it gets passed to the FA Sub-ledger (info tile). I want to understand all the process before the execution of the process to run the Create Mass Additions. Only the lines that meet the GL account (asset clearing, project holding, software holding and CIP) get to the info-tile for asset review, to proceed within the FA sub-ledger.
