Are there additional configurations for Submit Journal for GL Journals drop down?

Per the new feature in Image 49 Bug 35602724, the Create/Update Journal Entries page was enhanced to allow users to automatically submit a journal to the approver if the journal passes edit check. I'm assuming that means from the Process drop down, if someone selects Edit Journal for the journal and it results in a Valid Journal Header Status and Valid Budget Header Status, the journal is automatically submitted for approval. Are there any additional configurations needed to make that automation happen?
