Error in ego_item_pub.process_items - r12.2.10

Hello,

This is on EBS r12.2.10, Database 19c

We are importing items from an external source and we have 4 records for the same item.

One record has Transaction_Type = 'CREATE' for the Master Org.

Remaining Three Records have Transaction_Type =' UPDATE' for the Child orgs.

When we run the ego_item_pub.process_items on these records, the master item gets imported just fine. But for Child org, Update is failing with following error.

Error running the item API with action UPDATE. Table: MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B   Msg Text: INV_INV_ITEM_ID_NOEXIST_ERROR   Entity ID: ITEM   Index: 1   Type: E   Row:    Org ID:
