Accounting Entry Templates in Common Definitions

Can the accounting entry templates in the Setup Financial >Common definitions>Accounting Entry Templates > Template be changed so that they do not have blank values in the fields when they populate the budget strings accounting line tables.

I updated the receipt accrual entry type in test environment and ran the receipt accrual and it populated the budget string for the 9510 transaction with zeros other than the resource, account and fund, which is what I want.

Can this be done on other accounting entry types in the list? Is there any ramification for doing this?
