PTPORTAL REGISTRY search failing with exception 'Failed to build document filter'.

We upgraded to PeopleTools 8.60 and are using OpenSearch. The PTPORTALREGISTRY index was built and deployed successfully. However when trying to search, the error 'Failed to build document filter' is always received. The only information I can find relating to this error is for ElasticSearch. Is there any information on how to resolve this error using OpenSearch?
