SQR Process Update

Hello everyone,

I have an SQR that takes a long time to process, and I would like to update the message log periodically to provide users with an idea of the process status and estimated completion time.

Is there a way to write to the message log periodically so that users can monitor the progress by checking the log? Any tips or examples would be greatly appreciated.
