Starting clonescript from out of OEM fails whereas manually it simply succeeds

We use a quite enhanced cloningscript which we use to clone databases scheduled through OEM. This was always working as a charm, but recently one of the databases has migrated to Oracle19c and when cloning this one to another 19c (test or acceptance) simply fails when it tries to connect through RMAN to the database.
As I can't always clone I copied the batchfile and modified the rcv-scripts to be called so that no cloning will take place but only the connection is being tested. Without success sofar.
