Why processes are in queued state.

In production environment, the issue is reported that all the process is in queued state. During the time of troubleshooting, I see all the process which was in queued state and now success posted. I have not done anything.

The client told me that they ran ALLOCATION job today .

My client wants to identify the root cause why all the process were in queued state .

I checked the log and I do not find any error in it.

Can some help me how to identify the root cause.
