Does the Payment Destinaion of Payroll Split the Payment?

We are on PeopleSoft 9.2 Image 47.

When an employee's travel profile has a Payment Destination value selected as "Payroll" and their payroll is split to pay to multiple accounts, does this split the travel reimbursement payment? What is specifically used when Payroll is selected?

Also, when "Accounts Payable" is selected how is it paid through this method?

Peoplebooks doesn't provide specific details on these two selections, and we are looking to see if we want to allow using this feature.
