Unsure of whether bug patches required based on tools version

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered

I was wondering if a bug states "Required for PeopleTools 8.XX" and we are going to a higher tools version, if that bug is still required to be implemented. I really couldn't find a definitive answer and hoping someone in the community could clear it up.
