Can I change a Field label on a Prompt Table?

I have a Prompt Table Edit in the properties of the record.field TRANSACTION_NBR. The lookup is working fine. However, the Users wants the prompt table to say "Req. No.", to match the current page, instead of "Transaction Number".

Can someone provide a working example of the changing the label on a prompt table field? in HCM?

I've tried several options that made no difference, but I could have done wrong. I have been working in SearchInit and RowInit events on the TRANSACTION_NBR field, on the prompt table.
