Oracle apps r12.2.4, Before user leaving company he has setup proxy to another user which is issue.

Oracle apps r12.2.4, Before user leaving company (USER_A) has setup proxy to another user(USER_B).

I have removed the exited employee (USER_A) from the approval hierarchy and set the new user (USER_B) as approver. But the approval workflows are stamping approver name as UMX|UMX_PROXY_223CAFD68DC06A2EE06314113C0A7C4C which is grant_guid of the proxy setup by USER A to USER B.

When I remove approver name (USER_B) and add a new approver (USER_C) then it is picking the approver USER C and going through as expected.

Can someone guide me where this is being picked up and how to avoid happening this ?
