IPV 6 loopback required on Solaris 11 global zone and solaris 10 ngz

I have a solaris 11.4 global zone and and a solaris 10 non-global zone and both have :

127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost

in /etc/hosts

eBS is the application running on the non-global zone.

How can I check if anything is using this protocol?

If I comment out ::1 from the /etc/hosts file will it effect the communication between the global zone and non-global zone?

solaris 10 zone is configured as :

brand: solaris10
anet:
linkname: net0
lower-link: aggr0
configure-allowed-address: true
