Does student financial budget-check directly against Commitment Control (KK)?

I'm working on reconciling the GL and KK balances and found that none of the Student Financials lines are hitting KK. I am curious about whether Commitment Control (KK) budget checking is applied to transactions in this module. I know KK is used to enforce budget control for Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and other modules, but I am wondering if there’s any standard or recommended way to enable budget-checking within Student Financials.

In particular, I'm interested to know about:

  • Whether KK can natively support budget-checking for Student Financials transactions.
  • How other institutions might have implemented custom budget checks for Student Finances, specifically for items like tuition, financial aid, or grant-related student funding.
