Oracle BI Publisher Desktop 12.2.1.4.0 for 64 bit Office on Windows and PeopleTools 8.59.23

My company recently rolled out MS Office 365 and the BI Publisher Plugin no longer works with Word. Assuming upgrading to the newest version of BI Publisher Desktop will address my issue, will it work with our Tools release of 8.59.23?
