Avoiding FRA Filling @ DB Load Benchmarking

Hi, I'm using Oracle 19c.

I'm wondering, when load testing a database, what can be done to avoid hundreds of archivelog files filling the FRA? This is occurring in the FRA for a couple RAC physical standbys. The primary DBs are tested, then the standby applies logs and backs up archive logs to the FRA. The primary DBs FRA aren't filling up the same way, so those maybe are getting deleted automatically.

Is it because the databases are off, or closed, that they are not deleting their archivelog files in the FRA? There are standbys in this FRA that are exceeding their db_recovery_file_dest_size by over double, and their archivelog deletion policies are configured to "none". On the primary DBs, the deletion policy is set to backed up once, but when I try to back them up:
