Running nVision in 3-tier

Others at my office do not have this problem. When I try to run nVision in 3-tier, I get the login screen and Excel begins to open after entering credentials. Shortly after Excel opens and starts up nVision, I get the following error. I have not found anything in my searches that will help.

'Excel interface exception [C:\PT860P14B_2405130500-retail\peopletools\src\psnxl\gridapp.cpp:2175] ; SCODE = 0x800706BE' Error for 'PSGridApp: '. (28,160)

Nobody else seems to get this error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled tools many times to no avail. We are on PTools 8.60.14. I had the same issue when we were on PTools 8.59, so this has me stumped.
