PeopleSoft Trees- Mirror tree but with different effective date

Version: PeopleTools 8.60.08 and FN Suite to 9.2.49

Hi

My company would like to move a business unit(company) from one tree parent to another within the same tree but with an effective date of 1/1/2025.

Existing Business Unit tree is currently effective 1/1/1900.

User also wants to be able to run historical data on the moved business unit for the tree that it was under prior to 1/1/25 change & also run data for after the change.

So business unit 20006 for 12/31/2024 & prior data is under INS_SUBS- INSB & if data pulled should only pull data as of 12/31/24 & prior under INS_SUBS- INSB

business unit 20006 effective 1/1/25 under non-Insurance & if data pulled should only pull data as of 1/1/25 under non-insurance.
