PeopleSoft- Elimination Lines of a new effective date

Version: PeopleTools 8.60.08 and FN Suite to 9.2.49

Hi

My company would like to add a new group of elimination lines but to be effective 1/1/2025 and to only have 1 of 7 lines.

If both groups are active how would this impact reporting?

Could user run historical data on the data from the 1st group effective 1/1/1900 where the 8th line would still exist & then data for new effective 1/1/2025 where only 7 lines would exist?

If both groups are active- will this also cause issues when running elimination lines?

If the 1st group effective 1/1/1900 is changed to inactive can user still pull historical data for that time period- anything before the new active group of 1/1/25?
