How OIM field validations work

Hello,

We currently have a customization so that users can only have a role for 180 days from the given start date to the end date. But currently in the OIM identity, if the approver user is going to approve a request days after the request was created, we have problems, since it is generating the following warning on the date of the request marked in the red box:

We want to validate how OIM generates this warning/tooltip and if it is possible to modify or customize it to avoid inconveniences to users.
Can you help us with information about this functionality?
