PeopleSoft App/Web Servers Linux RHEL OS Upgrade

Hi,

We are planning to upgrade Linux RHEL OS from 7 to 8.10 across the PSFT Infra,

Which is the best practice in perspective of PeopleSoft People tools: in-place server RHEL OS upgrade or get new upgrade OS servers?

New servers will be required a huge psadmin efforts like fresh installation of DPK, configuration and Testing. But in place OS upgrade can cause issues by impacting PeopleSoft App/Web servers like below:

I need your suggestions based on your experiences:
