RMS on-prem to RMS Cloud Upgrade query

I've a query, let's say we've on-prem RMS, WMS systems which are to be upgraded to Oracle Cloud but not to be sunset yet until properly migrated in cloud, what is the middleware approach for communication? Is it via OIC or RIB-OIC/OIC-RIB or RICS? Please someone explain.
