PeopleSoft Intercompany Automatic due to/ due from lines not being created

PS 8.60

I have created a journal entry where I need intercompany due to/ due from lines. When I enter the manual lines with 2 different business units ending in 01 & 08 & process- 2 additional due to/ due from lines were automatically created by PeopleSoft- lines 4&5 in screen print below.

When I tried with 1 old (ending in 01 - same BU as in example below) & 1 new business unit (ending in 06), it does not create automatic intercompany lines like 4&5 & users need to create the intercompany lines manually.

I have looked through set up but I must be some set up.

Please review & I appreciate any suggestions
