Has anyone implemented the SCIM connector in OIM 12c?

I'm exploring options for provisioning users to a SCIM-compliant target application and would like to understand:

What approach did you follow for the SCIM integration?
Did you use a custom connector, SOA composite, REST APIs, or another method?
Any best practices, challenges, or lessons learned during the implementation?

Would really appreciate any insights, documentation references, or sample use cases from anyone who has worked on this.
