Manage Abends - Temporary Tables - Data Left in Tables?

When an Application Engine (Process Instance) abend is either deleted through Process Monitor or through the Manage Abends page, it looks like the locks are released on the Temp tables. However, does the data still remain in these temp tables? If so, does the data get deleted (or removed) when the next instance for the Application Engine runs again?
