Mass update the 'Effective To' date for 'Skiplot Process' in Skiplot/Sampling Criteria Setup

We have a requirement to delete a particular 'Skiplot Process' code but the system doesn't allow us to do so as there are around 1000+ Items associated under it.
Hence wanted to know if we can mass update and put an 'Effective To' date for the 'Skiplot Process' all at once for the 1000+ Items present under it using a SQL?
We have the List of Items-Skiplot Process Code-Item ID and ORG ID with us.
