PeopleTools Notification Administration Purge process not purging 'Dismissed' state values

When attempting to run the PeopleTools Notification Administration Purge process, it is not puring records that have the 'Dismissed' PTPN_MSG_STATE, but it is purging those with the 'Dismiss' value. The Notification Administration Purge process only has the option for 'Dismiss' and NOT 'Dismissed' when selecting the state value of the records you want to purge.

Is there a known issue with this Purge process and 'Dismissed' records?
