Any recommendations "India - Period Ending Process" how many times we can run it in a month?

During the month-end process, the program 'India - Period Ending Process' runs for a long time, approximately 3-4 hours, and is causing delays. After reviewing the document EBS Financials: Period Close Assistant (Doc ID 2500130.2), I understand that we can schedule this program to run on specific days as recommended: every 10th, every 20th, every 25th, and every alternate day after the 25th until the end of the month.

I am under the impression that so far, this program needs to be run only once a month, and that too during the period closing.
