PeopleSoft Bank Account Encryption Committing Data When Call to Encrypt or Decrypt is Made

Hi,

We are on PeopleTools 8.61.09, PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 PUM 52 and are testing Bank Account Encryption functionality in one of our lower regions. We have found that each time a call is made to a delivered method to encrypt or decrypt a value a database commit is occurring. Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and what action was taken to resolve.
