Best Browser for PeopleSoft

Hi

I don't know if this question belongs under PeopleTools. Please move it if necessary.

It appears that Firefox is better to use with PeopleSoft than Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. The latter two browsers are not optimal for PeopleSoft for the following reasons:

  1. Chrome/Edge use the same engine (Chromium) and Chromium has stricter caching & security behaviours
  2. PeopleSoft UI historically aligned with Firefox during Oracle certification cycles
  3. Chrome/Edge’s caching is more aggressive, leading to typical PeopleSoft issues
  4. Chromium enforces SameSite cookie rules that break some SSO and PeopleSoft redirects
  5. Chrome aggressively kills background tabs

My question is: Should one actively discourage Users from using these two browsers and rather recommend that Users use Firefox?
