KK Activity Archiving selection is by KK_TRAN_DT is it possible to select by ACCOUNTING_DT?

The selection query criteria for KKACTVTY is Business Unit and Tran Dt. The linking table is KK_SOURCE_HDR which does contain Accounting Date. Of course, other tables being archived do not contain Accounting Date. Is it feasible/advisable to change the selection criteria to Accounting Date? Ramifications?

We have documents/transactions that have Trans Dates that are 2019 and before that have Accounting Dates in 2025. Not everyone is comfortable with that.
