PeopleSoft Payables Voucher question regarding Service Dates (Begin Date and End Date)

Is anyone allowing entry of Service Dates - Begin Date and End Date - on vouchers without using the Federal Payment functionality? We just simply need to have a place to save the Service Period (Begin Date and End Date) on regular and quick voucher entry.

I'm wondering if anyone is doing this with or without a customization. Thank you in advance for your help.
