Guidance on SAML SSO Integration for PeopleSoft and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)

Hello all,

We are evaluating a Single Sign-On (SSO) solution for our state environment and want to unify authentication across PeopleSoft and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS). Our current plan is:

  • Azure AD (Entra ID) as the SAML 2.0 Identity Provider (IdP)
  • WebLogic Server as the Service Provider (SP) validating SAML assertions
  • OAS relies on WebLogic for authentication
  • Authorization is handled via our on-premises Active Directory

Our goal is for PeopleSoft users and OAS users to authenticate seamlessly, ideally using their Windows credentials, without needing separate usernames and passwords.

Questions:

  1. Is this Azure AD → WebLogic → OAS SAML architecture officially supported or certified by Oracle for production use?
