KK Budget Close - How to adjust dates on Closing Journal vs Carry Forward Journal (FSPYCLOS)

Hoping someone has a documented solution / customization for this one, as it's a COBOL SQL.

---SETUP---

We set up our budget definitions so that any one budget definition row only has one budget period open. On July 1st, 2026, we will go into Budget Period 2027. As a result:

7/1/2025 Effective Dated Budget Definition:
--- 2025 - Closed
--- 2026 - Open
--- 2027 - Closed

7/1/2026 Effective Dated Budget Definition:
--- 2025 - Closed
--- 2026 - Closed
--- 2027 - Open

We do not build our budget calendar more than 1 year in advance to prevent any issues with future budget periods.
