Configuration of Nepal Fiscal Year (Mid-July to Mid-July) in PeopleSoft GL
Hi Experts,
We are currently setting up a Nepal Business Unit in PeopleSoft GL and have received a requirement to configure a separate fiscal calendar aligned with Nepal’s financial year (based on the Bikram Sambat calendar).
The business has specifically requested the fiscal year to run from:
👉 17th July to 16th July of the following year
Key Requirements:
- Separate Fiscal Calendar
- Configure a dedicated Calendar ID for Nepal BU with:
- Fiscal Year: 17-July → 16-July
- 12 accounting periods aligned to this cycle (mid-month to mid-month)
- Configure a dedicated Calendar ID for Nepal BU with:
- Business Unit Independence
- Nepal BU should operate on this calendar, while other BUs in the same instance follow a standard Jan–Dec fiscal year
