Implementing Request Information in Fluid Approvals

Hello, my organization is working on setting up fluid approvals and we want to implement the Request Information and Request Information Added events on Requisitions and some of our custom workflows. I cannot find any documentation on MOS regarding actually triggering the addition of information. We can get the workflow to create the requested information, but requesters have no ability to remove the document from the hold status and move it back to the approver in the workflow. I've viewed document 1496010.1 but it glosses over this specific part of the process. If anyone has any advice or documentation, it would be greatly appreciated
