Analysis Types descriptions

For PeopleSoft Financials in the General Ledger, is there a more detailed description of the Analysis Types? I see all 128 of the Oracle-delivered ones in the component PROJ_ANALYSIS_TYPE (we only use 14 of those). I see the description for each of those; but is what does each analysis type do? For example, if used, what does that indicate will happen? I know these are used for Project Costing but really wanting to learn more about these.

But that does not provide much detail.
