PUM54 Upgrade does not override Customisations

We have applied PUM Image #54 on our TEST environment and observed an unexpected issue regarding custom objects.

All activities defined in Change Assistant for applying Image #54 were completed successfully. We reviewed the execution logs and did not identify any errors, warnings, or failures that would explain this behavior.

Given that the affected custom objects were identified in the Pre-Compare Report but were not updated during the image upgrade, I would like to understand:

Why the custom objects were not impacted by the PUM Image #54 Change Package?
Whether this is expected behavior or if there is an issue with the compare/copy process?
