PUM Image 54 Upgrade – Change Assistant Step Taking Significantly Longer Than Expected

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC)

Hi Team,

While applying the PUM Image 54 upgrade in both the Test and System Test environments, we observed that the Change Assistant step "Managing the Package MO Project on the Source" took more than 3 hours to complete.

However, during our earlier PUM Image 53 upgrade, the same step completed in approximately 5 minutes.

Could you please confirm whether this behavior is expected for the PUM Image 54 upgrade? If not, could you help us understand:

  • What could be causing this significant increase in execution time?
  • Whether there are any known issues related to this step in PUM Image 54.
  • Recommended troubleshooting steps or a solution to address this issue.
