PeopleTools Upgrade to 8.62.07 impacting master data

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) Question

As a result of our latest PeopleTools upgrade, we found that a couple of currency codes had been "automatically" inactivated. Appreciate that those inactivated currencies are no longer in circulation, and this is the correct step to take, but is there a step missing with our upgrade process where we can choose whether or not to run certain updates?

Where can we can a list of such updates to any master data so that it can be reviewed before we decide whether or not to proceed with the updates during PeopleTools upgrade?
