Is there a way to have the search page of a component classic plus, but the actual pages classic?

We would like to give all the search pages the classic plus look. However, many of our custom pages, do not look good as classic plus pages, so is there a way to make the search pages classic plus, and the pages of the actual component, classic (but not all of the components). I was hoping there was some peoplecode or setting I could put in that would revert the classic plus page back to classic, or some way to only make the search page classic plus.
